I’ve been DJing since high school, curating playlists for myself, friends, and clients, before beginning to perform live sets in late 2022.
Since then, I’ve performed across New York City and internationally, with performances in London, Mexico City, Tokyo, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. In New York, I’ve played at some of my favorite venues, including Public Records and Elsewhere.
While I’m drawn to a wide range of genres, my sets today center on dance music shaped by rhythm, emotion, and movement: house, funk, soul, disco, and beyond. I’m always looking for ways to weave in other sounds I love, especially jazz and hip hop. Whether I’m playing solo or collaborating with other DJs and live musicians, I approach DJing the same way I approach my other artistic practices: through layering, building energy, and creating collective experiences.
Atune is an extension of that practice. It is a listening series I created in response to how fragmented and distracted our relationship to music has become. Atune invites people to slow down and experience an album together, front to back, without phones, talking, or distractions. More than an event, it is an experiment in presence, attention, and the possibility of connection through collective listening.
