GOOD LUCK
(2018-Ongoing)
Art Project
GOOD LUCK is a multimedia art project by max kulchinsky. the original collection features 18 hand screen printed posters (some of which are painted), a short film, photographs, additional paintings, a zine and other surprises.
the project started with this poster design in 2017.why "good luck" ?
one’s quality of life is determined mostly by the luck of the draw. the lottery of life is unfair in its very nature. none of us asked to be born. we are here on Earth coping with our circumstances, chasing meaning and assigning value to existence. from our winning or losing lottery tickets, we are born into a world of uncertainty. with ancestral baggage comes the necessity for good luck.
